John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Jesus has come and conquered this world so we can partake in that peace and happiness. He spoke the words (the Bible) to us so we can be victorious as well. Troubles will come to all people, they crucified Jesus so for us to expect nothing bad to happen in our lives would be foolish. But take heed! He gave us the power to overcome in the Word. Partake and be blessed!
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

God's Kindness
God’s kindness toward His people is wonderful. His kindness is so great that He sent His only Son to earth to die for us all, and save the world.
Titus 2:11-3:7
2:11 we all have the ability to accept that salvation. He appears even today through His word. He did this because He loves us dearly.
2:12 soberly G 4996; sound mind. Lust G 1939; a longing for. Jesus set the example for us to follow today. This is important because the world looks to Christians and we are to set the example. Keep your credibility good as others observe.
2:13 when you have seen the Son you have seen the Father. He is our Hope!
2:14 peculiar G 4041; being beyond usual. He gave Himself for us to secure a people that will further that great work for Him.
2:15 teach these thing to others with the authority of Christ.
3:1 principalities G 746; chief, principle, power. We are blessed in this nation to have a government that protects our religious rights.
3:2 don’t be argumentative and one that causes problems. Be humble in your dealings.
3:3 malice G 2549; badness. Without Christ and the Holy Spirit this is the way we would act. But by the Grace of God there go I. we are to build people up and not tear them down.
3:4 none of us deserve that great gift given to us by our Father. His grace and love toward us is awesome.
3:5 regeneration G 3824; (spiritual) rebirth. The Holy Spirit renews us. That wonderful gift of salvation isn’t due to anything we have accomplished. It’s a gift form God.
3:6-7 shed G 1632; to pour forth. Heirs G inheritors. We are justified by His Grace! When we ask for forgiveness of our sins our conscious is no longer burdened down and we are free.
Ephesians 2:1-22
2:1 He has made us alive who were once dead.
2:2 the prince of the power of the air is satan. He will encourage us to walk after the things and ways of this world. Don’t listen to him; rather rebuke him in the name of Jesus.
2:3 The flesh will always lead you astray. Allow your Spirit man to take control and overcome the evil.
2:4-5 Praise God, we are save by His Grace. He loves us greatly.
2:6 We rise above the flesh and walk in the Spirit.
2:7 we should always keep in remembrance the goodness of God and the mercy He shows us. This mercy and love He shows us should make us want to do all we can for our Father. We owe Him much. All He asks is for us to love Him and try our best.
2:8-9 don’t try and take credit for the gifts God has given us. It isn’t anything we have done but rather the Gift of God. Give Him thanks always for this!
2:10-11 created G 2936; through the idea of proprietorship of the manufacturer. Workmanship G 4161; a product. The circumcision today is of the heart (compare Romans 2:28-29). He is the owner of us and were created to do His good work.
2:12 aliens G 526; estranged. Commonwealth G 4174; citizenship. Gentiles had no part in the covenant before Christ came. We now all are able to benefit from the goodness of God.
2:13-14 Gentiles were not allowed in the temple past the court of the Gentiles under Old Testament rules. After the veil was rent from top to bottom we all have access to the holies of holies.
2:15-16 enmity G 2189; opposition. Twain G two, both. All who believe on Jesus Christ become one body, that body of Christ.
2:17-18 we all have access now through the Holy Spirit.
2:19-20 the Apostles are of the New Testament and the Prophets of the Old. We need both in order to build a proper foundation. They Old and the New tells of Christ!
2:21-22 habitation G 2732; a dwelling place. We have a habitation in Him, and He in them. It is a place we can go to for peace and rest. When the rest of the world is becoming unsteady and confused we can turn to Him.
Isaiah 11:1-6
11:1 out of Jesse came David, and out of David came Christ. The Fathers kindness to us.
11:2-3 God knows the heart and judges according to that. Praise God for this cause many would like to falsely accuse others.
11:4 Father judges fairly. The rod of His mouth is the Word. Truth dispels evil and wickedness.
11:5-6 This takes us into the eternity. There will be nothing there that offends. Through His kindness, the righteous live forever in eternity.

V.O.W (verse of the week)
Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Do we need or want more faith? If you said yes then get into the word of God. The bible is a letter sent personally to you, get into it and be blessed.

Rapture pt. 2
In the last lecture we documented that we have a spiritual body and a flesh body. As soon as the body dies the spirit returns to the Father (Ecclesiastes 12:7). We will go further to give background and evidence to what takes place.
2 Corinthians 5:1-10
5:1 Tabernacle G 4636; temporary residence. Dissolved G 2647; destroy. Not made with human hands but spiritual. Eternal (last forever) as spoken of in 1 Corinthians 15.
5:2 Groan G 4727; pray inaudibly (with grief), to sigh. We should all look forward to when the 7th trump sounds and are changed into that body eternal, for there will be no more aches, pain, etc.
5:3 (compare Rev 14:13). Our spiritual bodies are clothed with our righteous acts.
5:4 Mortality G 2349; liable to die. We long for that body which is corruptible (flesh) to be done away with and that incorruptible (deathlessness) to take its place. So we can have life eternal.
5:5 Wrought G 2716; to work fully, accomplish, perform. Earnest G 728; a pledge, part of the purchase-money or property given in advance as security for the rest. God gave us that comforter (Holy Spirit) as a guarantee that His word is true.
5:6 Absent: this would show that we were with God before because here in this body we are absent from God (indicates we were with Him before because we are now absent). We have the comforter which is our guarantee that we will see Him again.
5:7 We walk by believing and not seeing.
5:8 Willing G 2106; well pleased. We are not afraid of death because to be absent from this body is to be present with God.
5:9 Accepted G 2101; well pleasing. Regardless of what we are doing or where we are, we should try our best to be well pleasing to our Father.
5:10 We will be judged according to what we have done in the flesh. We now know from Ecclesiastes 12:7 that, to be absent from this body is to be present with God. So when one dies they are with God instantly. With this groundwork laid we can take a better look at 1 Thessalonians 4 and begin to understand what God is talking about. Let’s listen to what God would say.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
4:13 don’t be ignorant about those that are dead (asleep).
4:14 We know Jesus died and is in heaven, so are those that have passed away already. God will bring them back because they are already there with Him.
4:15 Prevent G 5348; come before, precede. The subject is the coming of the Lord. We that are alive will not go before them because they are already there (dead). It’s not that difficult to understand once traditions of men are done away with and the Word of God is taught. Don’t let people fool you, if you believe Jesus rose again then you believe those already dead will come back with Him again.
4:16 (compare: 1 Cor 15:52, Matt 24:31). Giving further evidence to the fact. With the trump (7th/last) the dead will return with Christ. No great mystery here as to what is happening. We will all gather with God again but not until the last trump, for God is coming here to set up His kingdom (compare: Rev 21), so where are you going to fly away too? The weapon satan uses is deception, be on guard.
4:17 (compare: Hebrews 12:1). Clouds here are used as a figure of speech. Paul was using this to describe a large group of people. Air is that change that takes place into that spiritual body at the 7th trump we read about in 1 Corinthians 15. Ever means we will have on that incorruptible body (deathlessness). So to recap a little: the 7th trump will sound and those already dead (asleep) will God bring back with Him and those alive that are not dead will be changed into that spiritual body to be with the Lord.
Hebrews 12:1
12:1 Here is another example of cloud used by Paul. He states that they are going to gather in a great cloud of witnesses to bring the work of God forward.
2 Thessalonians 2:1-12
Paul knew that the people were confused about things from the first letter he wrote them. So while still in the same place he wrote them another letter to clarify what was written so they wouldn’t be confused.
2:1 The subject is the coming of the Lord and our gathering together to Him.
2:2 Shaken G 4531; waver. Don’t be fooled by a man, an evil spirit or by the first letter written. Prophecy must first come to pass before the Lord returns (we will not be taken out of here at “any moment”).
2:3 Falling away G 646; apostasy. Perdition G 684; to die, perish. Reveal G 601; to take off the cover. A stern warning against man’s deception/ traditions-be on guard! (compare: Ezekiel 28). The son of perdition is satan, the only one by name who is sentenced to die by God. God is saying that we will not gather with God (compare: 1 Thess 4:17) until that one who is sentenced to die (satan) is revealed (made known). Listen to the word of God!
2:4 (compare: Dan 9/11). Opposeth G 480; to lie opposite, adversary. Satan will sit in the temple of God (Mt. Zion-Jerusalem) showing himself to be God (compare: Rev 13:11). Many will follow after satan as he comes as the antichrist (anti in the Greek is a word that means instead of). Understand the word of God and don’t be fooled.
2:6-7 the subject is satan. The verb is transitive and an object must be supplied (which is satan). Remember the last subject or object mentioned was satan sitting in the seat of God. He letteth: Michael the Archangel will kick satan out of heaven (compare: Rev 12:7-9).
2:8 satan will be revealed for who he is (no more deception), and the true Jesus return. Remember satan uses deception to make it happen so the Lord will come back with truth which dispels lies.
2:9 Deception is what satan works in. come out of deception and take on that truth that turns darkness to light.
2:10 Deceivableness G 539; delusion, deceit. Those deceived by satan because they think he is Jesus. These would not receive the truth.
2:11 Because they don’t want to believe God satan will come (a lie) and lead them astray.
2:12 This is the Truth-not a story made up by men. Trust in God.

V.O.W (verse of the week)
Psalm 34:8
O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in HIM.
Have you tasted the goodness of the LORD? It takes only a taste of HIS goodness and you will never want to leave. Trust in HIM and the promises HE has for us.
O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in HIM.
Have you tasted the goodness of the LORD? It takes only a taste of HIS goodness and you will never want to leave. Trust in HIM and the promises HE has for us.
Rapture pt. 1
It doesn’t really matter what a man might say about things, what is important is what our Father says and His word. The rapture is a relatively new development for Christians. It was started around the 17 or 1800’s. We are going to cover a lot of things as we delve into the word of God. As we partake in this study I ask that you come with an open mind and hear what our Father might say on the subject. We are going to start with background and work our way up.
1 Corinthians 15:34-55
15:34 knowledge G 56; ignorance (state of). Don’t listen to men, rather focus on God’s word. Come out of confusion and ignorance.
15:35 (compare/dead bodies: Gen 2:7, Gen 3:19, Psalm 103:14, Ecc 12:7, 1 Cor 15:47). What raises them up and what are they raised in? (flesh or spirit). The fleshly body will return to where it came from, the earth.
15:36 quickened G 2227; made alive. There must be a death before life (as seed is planted then must die before the plant is brought forth).
15:37 (compare: Mark 4:27). Plant the seed and it will bear what its kind is. The seed must first die before it can bring forth the fruit/plant. Remember the subject is the change and the body. Our body (flesh) must die in order for the change to take place into our spiritual bodies.
15:38 (compare/kind after kind: Gen 1). As in Genesis, “kind after kind” as it pleases our Father.
15:39 created all as it has pleased Him.
15:40 celestial G 2032; heavenly, high. Terrestrial G 1919; worldly, earthly, in earth. We have heavenly bodies and earthly bodies (2 different types).
15:41 each has their own characteristics (compare V: 38).
15:42 corruption (flesh) G 5356; decay, ruin. Incorruption (spiritual) G 861; immortality. It is sown into the ground (flesh body), and raised as the spiritual body. The flesh body (corruption) is susceptible to disease and all other manner of illness. The spiritual body (incorruption) is not susceptible to these same things, it will last forever.
15:43 weakness G 769; feebleness, disease, sickness. Flesh is weak, but we are raised without these weaknesses.
15:44 there is one born from woman (carnal) and one not (non-carnal). This is bodies we speak of, not souls. (there are natural and spiritual bodies).
15:45 (compare Gen 2:7, John 5:21). Quickening G 2227; make alive, give life. Jesus came to give us life eternal.
15:46 this is how it is.
15:47 Adam was created from the ground. Christ was sent from God.
15:48 heavenly: same as celestial. We have a higher calling to abide by.
15:49 image G 1504; a likeness. We all will be changed into this heavenly body.
15:50 flesh and blood are corruptible, and unable to inherit the kingdom of God (we must be spiritual). Nobody in a heavenly place will be in flesh bodies. Some were transfigured into their heavenly bodies as Elijah and Enoch were.
15:51 (compare/mystery: 1 Thess 4:15-16). Sleep G 2837; to put to sleep, dead. This says that ALL will be there, how could this be speaking of a “rapture” when ALL will be there. Not only the “lucky” ones many preach about flying out of here. All will be changed into that incorruption for judgment.
15:52 last G 2078; farthest, final (of place or time), end of. When does this happen? In a moment, a twinkling of an eye (fast), at the last trump! We see here the last can only mean the farthest point out. What happens at the end? Christ returns! All will be changed incorruptible. Don’t be fooled, rather listen to God and what He would say.
15:53 mortal G 2349; liable to die. Immortality G 110; deathlessness. The flesh body must put on the spiritual body. We strive for this, life eternal.
15:54 (compare/victory: Isa 25:8). When we step from this body to the spiritual body (some will die before and the rest will change when Christ returns at the 7th trump). There will be no more death/satan after the lake of fire.
15:55 the grave has no victory for those that make it to life eternal (immortal/deathlessness).

Prayer
Prayer is all about just talking to God. Making things known to Him so He can help. In times of trouble the first person we should seek out and talk to is God. He holds the answers and ways out.
James 1:1-8
1:1 written to the dispersed and to all those who have ears to hear.
1:2 joy G 5479; cheerfulness, calm delight. Temptation G 3986; adversity, a putting to proof. We are told in v: 3 why it is joyful.
1:3 Always know when adversity (temptation) comes along it has a purpose, and that’s to bring patience.
1:4 perfect G 5046; complete (in labor, growth, mental and moral character). Entire G 3648; complete in every part. Allow patience to bring growth in your character, so we are able to work for God. We pray to God and things may seem slow in answer but HE could be using that time to build you up for bigger things.
1:5 liberally G 574; bountifully. Upbraideth G 3679; taunt, reproach. Ask in faith and you will receive that wisdom from God.
1:6 wavering G doubting. Doubting will bring nothing. As wind drives the water which creates a wave but turns to nothing. Faith is the key! God will always answer what is best for you, and to have faith in this will carry you along.
1:7-8 These will receive nothing of the Lord. Don’t be a doubter.
1 Peter 3:7-12
3:7 (compare Gen 2:24). We are heirs together! We must not let strife come into our lives, so our prayers will not be hindered.
3:8 pitiful G 2155; compassionate, sympathetic. Show that Christian love and these characteristics. We don’t have to agree on every little detail of God’s word, but as long as we agree it is the word that where all good and power come from. God has different duties and purposes for different people.
3:9 railing G 3059; slander. Don’t look to do bad to others, if bad is done to you. All blessings come from God and HE enjoys His children following His word.
3:10 guile G 1388; deceit. (compare James 3). Control the things that come out of our mouths. The tongue can bring evil.
3:11 eschew G 1578; to shun, avoid. Seek/ensue are both words that require action on our part.
3:12 God looks out for those that are doing what is right. None are perfect, but those that seek to do evil will not receive those blessings. In as much as we are heirs to the promise (v: 7) we need to seek them and know so we understand what they are, and can remind God of them.
Luke 18:1-17
18:1 don’t let trouble cause you to give up or tire out, but seek God!
18:2 This guy was probably an atheist, but also a judge.
18:5 Because of her persistent request he will grant it. Good example for us to follow as we pray to God. Remind God of the promises, but don’t chant or do things as the heathen do, rather be persistent and don’t waver.
18:6-7 God is longsuffering toward us. HE will answer our prayers!
18:8 Belief in God and His abilities to avenge His own is key. The faith must be evident for prayers to be answered.
18:9 Trusted not in God.
18:10 The subject is prayer. Publicans: not highly sought after people (looked down upon). Pharisees: the religious of the time.
18:11-12 (compare Prov 28:13). Showing a holier than thou attitude. He never makes mention of his sins.
18:13 smote upon his breast: This is expressive of mental grief (compare Luke 23:48, Jer 31:19, Nah 2:7). This is true repentance!
18:14 justified G 1344; just or innocent. When speaking to God don’t be holier than thou , show humility.
18:15-16 This is how it is.
18:17 how is a child? They are all believing, they have great trust and faith in what you tell them. We are to be this way with God. Receive those promises in our hearts knowing its fact.
Luke 17:3-4
17:3-4 Christian love and compassion. We must forgive so we are not hindered on our own prayers.
Matthew 6:5-8
6:5 hypocrite G 5273; play actor, stage player. Don’t try and con God, don’t play religion. Be humble and honest before God.
6:6 closet G a spot for privacy. Private G 2927; concealed, private, inwardly. Our Father knows what we are thinking, and knows our inner prayers (ones we don’t speak out loud).
6:7 (compare 1 Kings 18). Don’t repeat the same things over and over again. (keep the flesh out).
John 17:1-20
17:1 with the deeds, miracles and salvation.
17:2 eternal life is available to all.
17:3 Eternal life!
17:5 before the creation of the world.
17:6 manifested G 5319; to render apparent. They taught the word.
17:7 no doubt or wavering.
17:8 no doubt involved here. Remember many didn’t believe Jesus.
17:9-10 Prays for His own.
17:11 we are supposed to be one body with Christ the head.
17:12 (compare Ezekiel 28). Perdition G 684; die, destruction and perish. Satan is already sentenced to die.
17:13 we can experience that joy in the world now.
17:14 the word of God is a dividing point for many today.
17:15 the evil G 4190; the evil one, satan, devil. We have work to do, that is why God wants us here.
17:16-17 we are separated by His word for His people.
17:18 sent G 649; (apostle), to send out, set apart.
17:20 through that word which brings redemption!

V.O.W (verse of the week)
1 Corinthians 10:13
There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Take this and apply it to your life. If you are going through things, talk to God and see what He would have you do. He promises He will always make a way out!

A Servant of God
A Servant of God
We should all strive to be Servants of God. Jesus set the example of how we are to act and conduct ourselves as we go and do His work. What does a servant of God do? He does the will of God. The Apostles had just healed a 40 year old man who was paralyzed. They are rewarded by being thrown in jail.
Acts 4:7-31
4:7 power G 1411; (doonamis) force, miraculous power. This is important for us to realize today. The power is in the name of Christ!
4:8 These rulers were not appointed by God but set up by the Romans.
4:9-10 examined G 350; scrutinized. Impotent G 772; strengthless. It was by Jesus, whom they crucified.
4:11-12 stone (compare Psalm 118:22). Head of the Corner (compare Isa 28:16). These rulers considered Christ nothing and now He is their answer for salvation (very humbling for them).
4:13 Peter and them were ignorant of the traditions of men. They possessed a much higher knowledge which is from God.
4:14 How could they dispute this power. The man who was healed was standing with them.
4:15-16 council G 4892; Jewish Sanhedrin. How could they deny the apparent power.
4:17 There is nothing new under the sun. they are trying to take Gods name out of everything, as many do today. Will this stop us from speaking His name? NO!
4:18-19 serve God or man? Serve God always!
4:20 They were going to speak truth regardless of what a man says (good advice for us today).
4:21 Remember to glorify God always. Don’t fear what man can do to us as long as we are working for God.
4:22-24 All were rejoicing, what a mighty witness. I am sure this gave them boldness to speak even more.
4:25-26 (quoted in Psalm 2:1-2). Do you think the actions of the rulers shook God up? If you read Psalm 2:4 it states: “He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: The Lord shall have them in derision.”
4:27-28 Gods plan will always come to pass as written. Have Faith!
4:29-30 As a servant of God we can plug into that power that brings healings, signs and wonders.
4:31 Be a servant of God as Christ our example is. Speak His word boldly.
Isaiah 42:1-9
42:1 servant H 5650/5647; to work. Elect H 972; chosen one. We are to work for God.
42:2-3 smoking flax: the wick made of flax that burns dim. Not quench: not put it out burn trim it so it burns brightly (this is the servant’s job). The most important thing we can do is stay in the Truth, because it is what will set us free (compare John 8:32).
42:4 isles H 339; the habitable spots. It will not be man’s laws anymore but Gods.
42:5 He gives the Holy Spirit to those that believe.
42:6-7 (compare Luke 2:32, Isa 49:6, Isa 35:5). Jesus Christ is the Light of the world. He gives us truth and leadership. He showed us how to be good servants of God.
42:8-9 All Glory to God. His prophecies do and will come to pass. Stay in God’s word and you will know how to be a good servant.
Philippians 2:1-9
2:1-2 we should all be going the same way. We should all be of one mind. The will of God should be our
2:3 vainglory G 2754; self-conceit. Be humble.
2:4 Be considerate of others, show that Christian love.
2:5-6 A virgin shall conceive and call His name Immanuel (Isa 7:14). We shall all strive to be servants and not above any.
2:7 servant G 1401; a slave. Christ didn’t set Himself above any other but served at the cost of His life.
2:8 We should have a similar mindset. Serve God at all costs.
2:9 We have a choice, to humble ourselves and be exalted or exalt ourselves and be humbled (compare Matt 23:12). Be a servant of the Living God and work to accomplish His will.

3 world ages pt.3
3 World Ages pt. 3
Isaiah 45:18
45:18 vain H 8414; waste, worthless, desolation. God makes his point very clear to how He created the earth. In Gen 1:1 we have the world that then was (2 Peter 3:6). In Gen 1:2 it became this way, it was not created this way.
Job 38:1-14
38:1 whirlwind: this is that from Ezekiel 1, when God comes down on it. God is answering Job because his friends have been giving him bad advice. Listen to God.
38:2 why did Job seek these fools.
38:3 loins H 2504; in the sense of strength. Stand as a mighty person for God, obeying Him and not the wisdom of men.
38:4 where were we?
38:5 who did this? We are ignorant in our own understanding compared to God.
38:6 foundations H 134; socket. Can we answer this? God is the one who holds the answers.
38:7 (compare Rev 12:4). These are sons of God (not born in the flesh), not sons of man (born of woman). This is speaking of All the sons of God singing together. This was a long time ago before this age. We read about satan drawing 1/3 of the stars with him (Rev 12:4).
38:8-9 creator of all.
38:10 decreed place: Mt Zion (Gods holy mountain).
38:11 The sea coast.
38:12 Job can do none of this, he can’t make the day break forth or turn it to night.
38:13 God can take hold of the ends of the earth and shake the wicked out, man cannot.
38:14 seal H 2368; signature ring, signet. God put His mark on the earth and created it all.
Job 40:3-7
40:3 Job finally answers after God shows him how little man knows.
40:5-6 Job knows his knowledge compares little to God.
40:7 stand for God! Be strong!
3 world ages pt.2
Three World Ages pt.2
2 Peter 3:15-18
3:15 He waits for all to come to salvation (longsuffering).
3:16 his: Paul’s. The thing that is most valuable to the people they are ignorant in. These false teachers that claim wisdom in God’s word but know very little.
3:17 beware G 5442; be on guard. Don’t follow fakes. Don’t follow after the things that will be burned up/destroyed (rudiments).
3:18 Grow in the knowledge of Christ (word).
Genesis 1:1-2
1:1 beginning H 7225; the first (in rank, place and time). When did it say He did this? 6,000 years ago? It doesn’t say it only say in the “beginning”. No time is involved, only beginning. This verse is the first earth age, when God destroyed it because of the overthrow of satan.
1:2 was H 1961; became. Void H 922; (bohu), to be empty, void. Without Form H 8414; (tohu), to lay waste, a desolation. (compare 2 Peter 3:5-6, Ezekiel 28). The earth became empty and desolate because God took care of the rebellion of satan. This verse is the second earth age.
Jeremiah 4:19-28
4:19 bowels: my within.
4:20 destruction: this will be at the 7th trump. This destruction will happen again fast (in a moment), as before (once Christ feet touch the Mt of Olives).
4:21 standard H 5251; a signal, a flag, banner. Who is our standard? It should be Christ we represent.
4:22 foolish H 191; perverse, silly. Sottish H 5530; stupid. We see a pattern of people not knowing God and His word and having difficulty in life. Don’t be sottish in Gods word and learn truth.
4:23 without form and void: (tohu va bohu). It refers to Gen 1:2. After God shook the earth, it became void and without form (He did not create it this way).
4:24-26 no man, no animal! All was destroyed so He could give people the choice in the second earth age to see whom they will serve (longsuffering). There were cities in the first earth age.
4:27 He gave all the chance to choose God or satan.
4:28 He purposed it, it happened!
3 world ages pt.1
3 world ages pt. 1
God’s word in no way states that this world is 6,000 years old. Look for yourself and see. Many Christians have a hard time explaining such things as dinosaurs because they believe this world dates back to 6,000 years ago. Let’s take a look and see for ourselves in God’s word.
Psalm 104:1-9
104:1 He is surrounded by these things! He does many things for us and is worthy to be praised.
104:2 He is that light that brings clarity to our life. He hung the heavens as we would hang a curtain.
104:3 (chariot compare Ezekiel 1). Chariot H 7398; a vehicle as ridden on. These are the vehicles God travels on. God walks in the Spirit (wind).
104:4 angels H 4397; messengers. Ministers H 8334; servant. (compare Psalm 103:21), (quoted in Heb 1:7). You can see how God can say in Ephesians 1:4 He chose some before the foundation of this world (age). Where were we before being born in the flesh? Where did your soul come from? God is the answer. We were His children even then.
104:5 earth H 776; (erets), soil, ground, land, earth. When this was done it was not 6,000 years ago but a long time ago. The cosmos may change (earth ages), but never the land, ground.
104:6 (compare Gen 1:2, 2 Peter 3:5-6). Deep H 8415; an abyss, a mass of water. The earth stood in the water and out. This is from satans rebellion (katabole). This is the tohu va bohu of Gen 1:1-2. Katabole is when satan drew a third of the stars with him (compare Rev 12).
104:7 (compare Gen 8). They fled instantly, not the almost year it took the waters to recede away in Noahs flood. How did shells and other things accustomed to water get deposited in places where there is no water?
104:8-9 God set the bounds for the water (coast). Never to cover the earth for total destruction again.
2 Peter 3:1-14
3:1 pure G 1506; sincere. Calling us to remember things from before.
3:2 calling us to remembrance of things from the Old Testament and the soon to be new testament.
3:3-4 scoffers G 1703; mocker, false teacher. Lust G 1939; their own desire. They think things continue without change.
3:5 willingly G 2309; desire it, delight in it. They are wanting their ignorance of the earth ages and how it was before. Not speaking of Noahs flood because all things were destroyed during the katabole. In the flood what did the dove bring back? An olive branch, which takes a while to grow.
3:6 world G 2889; (kosmos), orderly arrangement. Perished G 622destroy fully. Everything was destroyed fully (of that age). Remember Noah and people/animals survived the flood.
3:7 the heavens were not destroyed during the flood of Noah either. The 2nd earth age is now saved for fire (God is a consuming fire Heb 12:29). These that are to perish will be destroyed at that time.
3:8 How many days did it take the Lord to create the second earth age? 6 days (6,000 years) and on the 7th He rested (millennium=1,000 years). Adam was created around the year 4,000 BC. If the earth is only 6,000 years old how do you explain the dinosaurs.
3:9 slack G 1019; to delay, tarry, slow. Longsuffering G 3114; patient. God waits for all to be saved but many will not. This patience is why we are given the chance to be born of woman and choose who we will serve. This is why God did not make a full end at the first earth age.
3:10 (compare Gal 4:3/elements). Heavens are plural of then and now. Remember God is a consuming fire. Only the evil things of this world will be done away with and not the earth (erets).
3:11 (compare 1 Peter 1:15, 1 Tim 2:2). Don’t live the bad things of the world. Please God and not man.
3:12 This is a wonderful day because all that offends will be done away with.
3:13 new G 2537; in respect to freshness (with respect to age). This will be the 3rd earth age when all will be made right. Not a different earth/heaven but renewed.
3:14 Wait on the Lord and be found unblemished.

Dont be Shaken
There are many verses in God’s word that lead to people being shaken and confused. We are going to see a lot of troubling times in this generation but have no fear! The beauty of serving God and knowing His word is having that security to know He isn’t angry with us, just the unbelievers.
Amos 9:1-15
9:1 lintel H capital. “smite the ..them”, this should be translated: “smite the capitol, shake the foundation, cut them off (the pillars) by the head, all of them”. Learn to discern the word to see who verses like these are addressed to. God is talking to the unbelievers.
9:2-3 hell H 7585; grave. Many think they can build their own salvation (tower of babel, etc.), but are greatly mistaken. God here is showing the impossibility of escaping HIS judgment.
9:4 evil H 7451; calamity. (compare Lev 26:33,Deut 28:25,ezek 5:12,Lev 17:10/20:5,jer 44:11). Don’t get afraid or worried about these things for God said they would come to be. Just remember God will sustain His children that are working to accomplish His plan.
9:5 remember to rightly divide the word of God. He is speaking to those that are the enemy, not His servants.
9:6 stories H 4609; chamber above. YHVH is His name. God is in control and this leaves us with nothing to worry about! His anger is building and will be poured out on His enemies.
9:7 (compare Ex 13:3/9/14/16,Deut 5:15/6:21/2:23). God delivered His children out of Egypt with mighty miracles, and yet they still acted as Baal worshippers.
9:8 Here it says only the sinful kingdom and those in it will be destroyed. Have no fear! Don’t be shaken!
9:9-10 The chafe will be separated from the wheat. If you love God, you are under His protection. Not one who loves and serves God will fall!
9:11 (quoted in Acts 15). This references the second advent when Christ shall return to make all things right. This will be a time of reward for those that overcome.
9:12 heathen H 1471; nations. There is a condition here, “those called by His name”. the Christians will be here to possess the remnant. This is God’s plan of salvation, to save His own.
9:13 melt H 4127; dissolve (into wine, oil). (compare Lev 26:5,Joel 3:18). This is speaking of the promise land, a land flowing with milk and honey. The rewards far outnumber the problems we face here.
9:14 (compare Deut 30:5). What we produce will be ours. No more will things diminish our labor.
9:15 Stand upon that ROCK in which cannot be shaken. God is returning to make things right.
Nahum 1:1-13
1:1 burden H 4853; prophetic oracle.
1:2 God is angry with His adversaries/enemies, not His children. Don’t let satan deceive you!
1:3-4 (compare Ex 14, Psalm 106:9). Slow to anger means long suffering. He does mighty things for His followers. He is in control; don’t be fooled by men and their traditions.
1:5-6 (compare Mic 1:3-4). Remember God is a consuming fire (Heb 12:29). That fire warms those that believe, but burns those that don’t.
1:7 (compare Psalm 1:6, 2 Tim 2:12). God is a place of refuge for His own! Run to it when trouble comes. God knows His own and won’t let anything overcome them.
1:8 There is a shaking coming, but fear not it has no effect on us.
1:9-10 imagine H 2803; fabricate, cunningly devise. (compare Isa 10:17/27:4, psalm 2:1). Affliction by the wicked will not rise up again, because after the great white throne judgment all evil is done away with.
1:11 be aware of those that seek to deceive you.
1:12-13 satan thinks because many will follow him, he can defeat God. What a wonderful day when all evil influences will be done away with.
Hebrews 12:25-29
12:25 Don’t refuse God.
12:26 There is a great shaking that will come, in which all things will be corrected.
12:27 Those that remain are the ones on the ROCK! We cannot be shaken when this is our faoundation.
12:28-29 serve God and we have no reason to fear. We belong to a nation that cannot be moved or shaken!
Search the Word of God
When you have problems in your life remember to search out the scripture for answers. In Mark 13:23 Jesus said “Behold I have foretold you all things.” Every problem has an answer and that answer can be found in the Word. There is no better counsel than Gods Word!
1 Peter 1:7-20
1:7 trial G 1383; testing. (compare James 1:7). The building of your faith brings much more rewards than gold.
1:8 believing G 4100; to have faith. (compare John 20:24-29). You have not seen Jesus yet you believe!
1:9-10 The prophets of the old time foretold of the Messiah coming and bringing salvation. You know who HE is and will not be deceived by the fake. You have searched the scriptures.
1:11 searching G 2045; to seek. Psalm 22 was written a long time before Christ came to die for us yet it prophecies of HIM and what HE was to endure. The words of the prophets came true because it was Gods word not a mans.
1:12 The prophets gave these prophecies for our benefit (salvation) not their own. Even the angels look down to rejoice at a lost soul coming to the Lord.
1:13 revelation G 602; appearing. Focus on Gods word and not mans. Don’t be blown to and fro by unsound doctrine. Search the Word.
1:14-16 conversation G 391; behavior. (compare Lev 11:44). Nobody is perfect, even our best is as filthy rags compared to God (Isa 64:6). God really loves those who try their best to do what is right and follow HIS instruction the best they can.
1:17 fear is reverence. We are judged by our works. God doesn’t care what title you carry or who you are, just try and please HIM the best you can.
1:18-19 vain G 3152; empty. The traditions of men can’t save you. Only the precious blood of the Lamb!
1:20 The Messiah was foreordained in the first earth age to save us.
John 5:24-43
5:24-25 The spiritually dead will be given life. Do you hear what God is saying to you? Search the Word and find out.
5:26-27 Son of man is connected with judgment (died for us). Son of God is connected with resurrection.
5:28-29 Christ went to those who died before the gift of Christ (1 Peter 3:18-20). He went ot proclaim victory over satan and give all a chance of salvation.
5:30-31 God sent Jesus to fulfill scripture, and give us that perfect gift.
5:32-33 John the Baptist was the forerunner of Christ. His message was one of repentance.
5:34-35 testimony G 3141; evidence given. Light destroys darkness. Truth destroys falsehoods.
5:36-37 It was prophesied that Jesus would come and do wonderful works.
5:38 Not only did they not believe but they wanted to kill Him.
5:39 search G 2045; to seek, investigate. The prophets prophesied of Christ and His coming. Have we read it? The Pharisees a religious of the times hadn’t read it.
5:40-43 Follow Gods and His Word. It will always come to pass as written. Have Faith in it and you will be well.
John 7:41-52
7:41-42 The people are trying to figure out who Jesus is.
7:43-44 No man was able to take him without the Lord allowing it. We have the same protection on us through the name of Jesus.
7:46 They had never experienced a one like Jesus before.
7:47-48 Seek out your own salvation with trembling and fear. Don’t depend on a man for it. Don’t follow someone just because of the title they hold.
7:49 This is an insult. They are saying that the people are uneducated and know nothing (not like them who know everything).
7:50-51 Nicodemus was of the Pharisees but knew the words of Jesus were true (compare John 3:1-2).
7:52 There were prophets to come from Galilee. Don’t believe the word of a man. Search out for yourselves what is right or wrong. If the Pharisees really searched they would have found that Jonah and Hosea were out of Galilee, possibly Elijah, Elisha and Amos as well. Jesus was out of Galilee (Isaiah 9).
Fight the Good Fight
Fight the Good Fight
We need to fully grasp the price Jesus paid for us on the cross. Through this we are given power over satan and the power of the enemy. There is a great battle going on between the followers of Christ and of satan. We need to make sure we are on the right side of the battle. It is not a game and there is no time to play church! We need to follow the Word of God and fight the good fight for HIM.
Luke 13:23-30
13:23 This has to do with the second advent (Christ return). How many know antichrist comes first? How many will worship him? How many are waiting to fly away? Many will be deceived!
13:24 strait G 4728; narrow (from obstacles standing close about). Strive G 75; to struggle (contend with an adversary). (compare John 18:36, 2 Tim 4:7, 1 Cor 9:25). Are we ready to fight for God. Many will not make it through the narrow gate.
13:25 Jesus would do this because He wants a virgin bride, one not deceived. Those “in bed” with satan will not make it.
13:26-27 iniquity G 93; unrighteousness. He taught to the people then and He teaches to us now through the Word. Many will still follow after satan.
13:28 thrust out: cast out. We will only be able to see these people when we are in that other dimension. After Jesus comes back at the seventh trump. The gate to the kingdom is narrow be ready to stand for God.
13:29-30 (compare Ephesians 1:4/elect). This has to do with God’s elect. Those that know the truth and stay true to Jesus. Those that do not fall into the lies of satan but overcome. They stood with God then and they stand with God now.
Luke 16:10/14-17
16:10 faithful G 4103; true trustworthy. Be faithful in the little so God can trust you with the big!
16:14 covetous G5366; fond of silver (money lovers). There is nothing wrong with being rich with the blessing from God, but don’t rip people off. Don’t let the want and desire for money drive your actions.
16:15 (compare Matt 23:25). Don’t love money or things more than God. God knows our hearts and our motivation for doing things.
16:16 presseth G 974; to be seized ( by God). After John it was the time of Christ and all of His are seized by God to join His service. (compare Matt 5:17).
16:17 tittle G 2762; the least of a letter/law. The law is not going to be changed. Be pressed into His service and fight the good fight.
1 Thessalonians 2:1-13
2:1-2 (compare 2 Cor 11:23-33). Vain G 2756; empty. Be bold as a Christian no matter what is going on or who is around. At Phillipi Paul was beaten and thrown into jail. He converted the jailer to Christianity.
2:3-4 (compare Gal 1:10). Exhortation G 3874; instruction, appeal to. Paul didn’t care if the gospel offended men or not. He was accountable to God and God alone. This should be our concern today!
2:5-6 Paul didn’t seek to please men but God alone. He always made sure no matter the circumstance to please our Father and not be a burden to men. We teach Gods worf ther best we can and let God decide who receives the increase.
2:7-8 Paul was willing to give it all up to further the Word and help the people.
2:9-10 Paul was a tent maker and never a burden to any. He never begged for anything.
2:11-12 Live for God and not for man. This is what will bring satisfaction and blessing to your life.
2:13 effectually worketh G 1754; is made energetic. The word of God is what matters. It is what brings energy to your life, not mans words.
1 Timothy 6:3-12
6:3-4 doting G 3552; hanker after. Surmising G 5283; suspicion. Don’t teach anything that is not Gods word. Document what you teach according to the word of God.
6:5 gain G 4200; money getting. Don’t let the passing of the plate in church service be the most important part.
6:6-7 we take nothing of our worldly possession’s with us. We do take our works (compare Rev 14:13). Focus on the works for God and not your worldly riches.
6:8-9 There is nothing wrong with riches of God. But often times money does open the door to straying from God. It gives opportunity to occupy your time with wrong things.
6:10-11 the love of money brings heartache. Follow after the latter in the verse to find happiness.
6:12 fight the good fight of faith! Make a stand for God. There is one who looks to deceive and occupy your time with things that amount to nothing.
